Floor plan

The studio loft floor plan, explained

Ashley Lofts has one layout, done well: a studio loft of about 320 square feet inside a single container. Here is how the space is used, end to end, so you know what you are touring.

How the space is laid out

  • Entry and galley kitchen along one wall, with granite counters and a deep stainless sink
  • Full-size washer and dryer built in under the counter
  • Full bath with a tiled walk-in shower in the middle of the home
  • Separate sleeping area at the far end, with its own wide window
  • Wood-look plank flooring, a ceiling fan, and a wall heating and cooling unit
  • Refrigerator and microwave included

The one thing to know: no oven

There is no oven. Homes come with a refrigerator, a microwave and the washer and dryer, so plan on countertop cooking. It is the question people ask most after square footage, which is why it is here and not buried.

Who the plan fits

The layout is built around a single resident. A couple can make it work, but tour first and bring a tape measure. Homes at Ashley Lofts are studio lofts of about 320 square feet, built inside a single steel shipping container, each with a full-size washer and dryer, granite counters and a tiled walk-in shower. The availability page lists the current rent for every open home.
